Bike Lockers & Bike to Work

Throughout Loudoun County, LCCS manages and operates several bike lockers that are available for residents to rent. To identify, explain and call attention to the metal bike lockers, a vibrant vinyl wrap was designed and installed at each location. Continuing the theme, a design was created for the fabric buff giveaway at the Bike to Work Day event.

Pick a Better Way!

For several years, LCCS has participated in the annual Leesburg Flower and Garden Festival. With sponsorship status, LCCS had the opportunity to advertise their services on the back of the complementary wagons provided to patrons as “shopping carts” during the festival. The “Pick a Better Way” campaign soon surfaced to promote LCCS’ services and their sponsorship of the event. For the campaign, the wagon ad was the first design element followed by an in-house photo shoot of the wagon, complete with floral arrangement! The resulting photos were the foundation of the Newspaper and bus ad designs.

Farmer’s Market Branding

To increase awareness and foster community engagement, LCCS began tabling at various farmer’s markets throughout the county. This initiative involved a one-on-one strategy of addressing questions an individual had that might have prevented them from using a Loudoun County transit service. From this, the “Ask Me Anything” campaign was born.

Fostering brand recognition and awareness were major components to the project, leading to a custom eye-catching tent designed to stand out in the crowd of white tents. The LCCS ambassadors were also branded with t-shirts that read “Ask Me Anything”. Informational material including rack cards and business cards were also designed.

Carpool & Vanpool Campaign

Carpool and vanpool solutions are two major services that LCCS provides to Loudoun County residents. A print and animation campaign was developed to promote the benefits of each. The campaign began with the Vanpool ads which were printed in the local newspaper. Characters from this concept and the look and feel was extended to the 1 minute carpool animation.

Giveaway Tree Rack Card

Each year at the Flower and Garden Festival, Loudoun County Government gives away free bareroot saplings to attendees. For several years LCCS has partnered with Loudoun County Government on this initiative with the objective to reduce auto emissions by planting more trees. A bright, eye-catching design was created to replace the plain paper print out that was previously used. Each card was given away with a tree, detailing a brief history and instructions for planting and care and tips to promote public transit and LCCS’ services.

Silver Line Campaign

LCCS needed to advertise their transit services to the Wiehle Reston Silver Line Metro Station. The campaign was designed with the goal of increasing awareness and ridership and included newspaper and bus ads, an animation that aired as a movie preview at Regal Dulles Town Center 10, backlit mall signage ad, and a pocket map handout with the bus stop locations and information about the transit service.

A Dollar Goes A Long Way

LCCS needed a campaign to promote their public bus service. Since each ride only costs a dollar for a limited time, we came up with a slogan that illustrated how far one dollar could take you: A Dollar Goes A Long Way.

We used a bright red-and-blue combo with the public bus service map as a pattern. Assets were printed in a local mall to raise awareness, including a barricade, a backlit sign and two sky banners. Using the bus map’s data across several counties, we created a map to present the routes in an attractive and easy to understand format.
